Annenberg Community Beach House

The Annenberg Community Beach House is a five-acre public beach facility that celebrates the rich history of the beach, while offering an inclusive community destination with a variety of amenities including a children's playground, art gallery, historic guest house and historic pool. It is located along the Santa Monica coastline and provides year-round cultural programming with free family activities, events and tours of the Gold Coast era guest house.

This site was repurposed as a recreation and event space that combines the history of the original Marion Davies Guest House with new elements. Designed by Frederick Fisher Partners, Architects; Charles Pankow Builders; Historic Resources Group; Mia Lehrer & Associates; AdamsMorioka and Roy McMakin; the project rehabilitates the Guest House and the historic pool in a way that creates a cohesive framework for many kinds of community uses.
